About Me

Asiya is in service to humanity through her offerings of poetry, Cha Dao(The Way of Tea), spiritual guidance, yoga, meditation, and chanting.

She is a tea ceremonialist and offers tea meditation at her home tea space, First Kettle Tea Hut. Using the support and guidance from Tea, each action during the ceremony is a devotional offering to our Higher Self.

She is a Kundalini Yoga and meditation teacher. She is passionate about using Shabd Guru (Sound as Teacher) and breath work in her yoga practice to reduce anxiety, raise awareness, and become more embodied.

She has been on this path of seeking for 10 years and tried various forms of yoga, meditation, and spiritual practices. Her spiritual journey can be described as her journey to be Saibhung (whole & complete).

She practiced and trained in various forms of yoga and meditation until she found Kundalini Yoga which impacted her spiritual journey profoundly. Through various teachings like Japji Sahib, Shabad Guru chanting, mantras incorporated with Kundalini Yoga offered deep transformations in her life.

She believes there are many paths to Oneness and is passionate about helping others find their unique path to Liberation.

Ultimately her prayer and intention is “May the seeds of Bhakti in each seeker’s heart blossom into a beautiful lotus flower”.
